Youtube video sparks outrage

Youtube is a place of many cultures, religions, and video types. With millions of people uploading and livestreaming, contraversy is an absolute. A video circulating around on Twitter has created a contraversy of its own. The video, which was captured from the Youtube channel, “Amy’s life journey,” appears to show what many are coining as child abuse and neglect. The video clip is below.

Shortly after this clip begins, a child is heard crying. Through other videos, we were able to confirm the child to be approx two years in age. Rather than attending the child, Amy continues the video, completely ignoring the cries. However, this quickly changes when the child abruptly screams. Amy is seen putting her phone down, a smack is heard, and we hear her yelling at the toddler.

Upon further investigation, we found several occurances to which could be classified as questionable. In multiple videos, Amy is seen making a video while driving, a situation from which has already taken the lives of multiple people. However, in these instances, children are in the vehicle with her. Photos can be seen below.

Amy videos while driving. Note the camera angle shows that it could be in an unsafe location, potentially blocking her site. The toddler behind her is believed to be the one crying in the video.
In this video there are two children clearly seen. There is potentially a third child on the passenger side, behind the unknown man.
A third video of driving while filming. Once again, she has a child in the vehicle.

While the first video,we have shown, is what has people outraged, the photos show a disturbing pattern. By filming these videos, when she should be focused on driving, Amy has willfully placed her children in immediate danger. It’s common knowledge that distracted driving has cost lives in the past. In fact, you can find livestreams to which the streamers have died in accidents. While people are outraged by the initial video shown, they should be further outraged by the habitual pattern of neglect and endangerment to her children.

We have reached out to Amy for comment. As of this time, we have gotten no reply. Should this change, however, we will update this article.
